Tokyo Ghoul S1 S2 S3 or whatevah - Anime review 2020

Labeled as one of the best animes out there, Tokyo Ghoul has had a pretty good fanbase - I call them Ghouls (cause Tokyo Ghoul haha). The anime is about Ken Kaneki, a human being who, after certain tragic incidents, became a half Ghoul. And that's where the story begins.

If you know something about Ghouls, you would know that they eat humans (if you didn't know, now you know). As for Kaneki, you may think that he'll be able to survive on both human food & ghoul food. Sounds reasonable and logical right? (considering he's best of both and all). Sorry to disappoint (just like how you disappoint other people), but he cannot eat human food (yikes!) and he is the worst of both worlds (the ratio of good things happening in the world of TG to the bad things is 1:1000). But don't consider Kaneki to be weak (just cuz he has some bad shit going on don't mean he dumb), but he is comparatively weak to other ghouls (especially in Season 1).

However, the show doesn't really progress to show/tell you how much Kaneki evolved in his strength or how much mature (if you can call being a maniac maturity then yea...) he has become. Instead, it shows how twisted the human mind could be (SPOILER: It can be hella twisted). Glimpses of Jason's past (the villain in S1), Rize showing Kaneki other ways to see the world, the relation which is depicted between Kaneki and his pupil (if you know, you know that person), are all pointing to the same. This is the type of anime that focuses on the G.O.R.E. in gore. And precisely for that reason, one mustn't watch it just for the sake of watching it or for a little gore (this ain't some blood stuff to say uwu to). If you are in it, you are in it for life (yes the pact has been made with satan with your blood stfu). The relationship....
